Manager, Audit and Compliance - Hybrid, Full-time (Toronto, Ontario)
International Programs Group (IPG) is an independent third-party claims administration team that provides claims services for Lloyd's of London, self-insured entities, and organizations with high deductibles. We provide our clients with peace of mind knowing that their interests are looked after by a team of professionals who understand the specific language and technicalities of this market and who are dedicated to providing the highest quality of Third-Party Administrator (TPA) services. Role Summary:
The Manager, Audit and Compliance must ensure that quality standards and procedures are established and aligned with operational and customer specifications. This individual is responsible for managing the organization's quality assurance programs and will also establish performance standards, procedures, and audit controls to meet business requirements, as well as identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of company operations.
Please note this role will have a hybrid work model. The successful candidate will be required to work from home and from our downtown Toronto office.
Education, Knowledge, and Experience Required:
CIP, FCIP designation or equivalent 5-10 years of industry experience within claims environment Multi-line experience
Competencies Required to Succeed:
Strong team player Superior attention to detail Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills Experience developing and implementing action plans Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting priorities in an effective manner Intermediate computer skills word processing, spreadsheet, dBase applications, claims management system
Responsibilities:
Account maintenance and management Proactively identify and forecast account strengths, best practices, and development opportunities for adjusters Complete regular or specified reviews of physical / electronic files measured against a set of performance indicators which are aligned with client-specific and corporate expectations Assist with creation of guidelines as required to develop/maintain high quality claims management delivery Workings with account coordinators to ensure new programs are onboarded into audit program Monitor to ensure audit, special account instructions and other program specific details are linked to client requirements Assist with completion of pre audit and due diligence questionnaires as required
